Same. And forcing people to wear something in support, “or else”, is the exact opposite of tolerance and love. It’s tyranny. And it makes the whole gesture meaningless.
But it’s not really about welcoming LGB’s and making them feel safe. It’s about depersonalization and instilling group think. This hockey player may think he’s just standing for his Christian views (and he is), but he’s ALSO standing for EVERYONE’S right to freedom of thought, including those of us who are gay or bi.
Funny how the MSM tries to portray this guy as a villain for standing for what he believes in!
Bravo for James Reimer - Brave! Need more NHL players and people in general to stand up for their beliefs….
We should all have the right to make our decisions on our own, and not have to beg for people to understand. Once he decided he didn't want to wear the jersey, it's done. He does not, and should not give any reason. These bullying tactics are not about being gay, but rather being in control of others. I fear the gay community is quickly losing the good will that was afforded them the last decade, if they don't stop this nonsense in their name.
Why is this so difficult for so many people to do? Why are people so cowardly? Maybe HE should demand that all lgbtqprxyzabc people wear HIS jersey with HIS number and then call them Christophobes if they refuse. So sick of their bs.
The left-hand society has about had their 15 minutes of fame. It will all come back to burn them in the ass. Biblical.
