California is red outside the few red cities. All states are vulnerable to the “city” population corruption phenomena. Look at what is happening in Arizona and Georgia. Austin, Dallas/FW and Houston can threaten Texas. DC isn’t a state and is nothing but a sewer and the only remedy there is a consitutional amendment to spread any federal agencies equally around to the various states to prevent toxins building up in one area. Look at the largest cities in any state and see how many are red. None.
Where power resides, so do folks who want/need a handout. Those folks ain't stupid, they just know who spreads the butter on their toast.
Thank you, Patriot. CA is indeed corrupt and the elections are fixed especially from within the bigger cities, but a whole lot of Californians are decent conservatives. Those of us with roots here, family and friends are sick of how this one time paradise of a state has fallen due to the infiltration, greed and decadence of the left.
You forgot to mention Illinois- we are screwed in Southern IL because of Chicago and a few blue counties south of I-80
