I am not positive, but I think that DeSantis is playing the role of a RINO. Sucking up big GOPe money to later be used for MAGA Republican candidates. In the real world, DeSantis would be a moron to run. That is because by Florida law he would have to resign from his Governorship, only to very likely lose in the primary and have a big nothing.
