Started at 15 about 9-10 days ago and yesterday it was 6. It's just a clock and a number on the site.
The countdown constantly being discussed for the last week now lol. It seemed to be counting down to March 30th
Whenever I try in Oz it is down.

Strange, I have it opened on a separate tab and it is still ticking. You are correct, when I copy the link and try to open it on a new tab I get the web server is down. Very strange.
It is still ticking since the counting of time is done by your local computer and not the web server. Refreshing the page would show that it is down.
