The problem is, it's all lazy and dishonest. When Trump said "find votes", it wasn't "Hey go fill out some new ballots, who cares if it's fraud, make me win!!". They were still counting the votes at this point, and they were quite literally "finding" new piles upon piles of votes every few hours (that somehow all ended up benefiting Biden, but I digress).

And then of course, you have the J6 thing, which we don't even need to explain. They could never lawfully turn "Peacefully protest, make your voices heard!" into a call for a violent insurrection. This is why they always claim everything he does is a "dog whistle", because they know they have nothing, but they just knooooowwwww that they know exactly what he meant, and that it is a call to violence.
