Don't let them take away your peace. Remember, it's what comes out of a man's mouth that defiles him. It's what you let yourself think and say that dims the lamp of the Lord and makes the way seem dark and murky. Evil is not new. If your words are angry, your thoughts are angry. If your thoughts are angry, you're angry. If you're angry, you're afraid. If you're afraid, you lack faith and love. Out of the same mouth proceeds both blessings and cursings.
Brethren, this ought not to be.
Follow Christ's example. You can do it.
Since I was speaking ONLY in connection with self-defense against incipient murderers, I don't understand your interjection of the need for charity toward other people generally. I take that as self evident. I have explicitly denounced "hate" as being deleterious to any effectual self defense. If you want to talk about a more generous attitude of anons toward "normies," that is fine---but it is OFF TOPIC so far as I am concerned. Please take "yes" for an answer and let it rest.
I wrote this post. I think I'll decide what is off-topic. If your topic was not addressing mine, take a hike.
*edit - I just saw your username. You know you don't have to keep replying to my posts, right?
Then you don't understand your own topic. You made a big deal out of the inversion of 999 to be related to 666. I have pointed out it is no big deal...not even a deal. You don't want to address that at all. It was your topic, not mine. I see you have abandoned any defense of this inversion. Mission accomplished.
Anybody know what this guy is talking about? Before he deletes it:
LOL. Read my post again. There's no mention whatsoever of inverting 999. I didn't say anything of that kind. Do you even know where you are right now?
Actually, it turns out that I didn't, for which I apologize. I thought I was responding to a post on the Uvalde shooting that involved a long thread of banter about 666 vs. 999. I don't know how that happened and I regret it. When I am in the wrong, I confess and answer for it.
But speaking of topics, do you get my point about the disutility of hatred in the act of self defense?
