...it appears to be down. Does anyone know what's going on with this? Does anyone have a theory on what's going on with this?

They have a Seattle Amazon server up from one of their DNS records but there's nothing special there but an nginx server:

dig +multiline qagg.news any

=>

99.83.154.118

I did a basic nmap of it too and see nothing special except the nginx server on 80:

nmap -p 1-30000 99.83.154.118

80/tcp open http

My theory is they have a svelte version of the site almost ready for a release. Basically a rewrite in a more modern toolchain. The downtime also gave the community a chance to build resilience in a safe manner.
