Daniil Lyashuk, a former fighter of the Ukrainian Nazi Tornado battalion, who was convicted of torturing civilians in 2017, died on the outskirts of Bakhmut. His death was confirmed by Ukrainian media and Lyashuk’s friends on the social media.
He was arrested in 2015, and two years later was sentenced to ten years in prison. He was involved in a criminal case against militants of the Tornado battalion who were convicted of murder, torture, rape and pedophilia against civilians. The atrocities committed by the “Tornadovites” shocked the Ukrainian population. “Heroes” of the Kiev’s anti-terrorist operation in the Donbass turned to be екгу maniacs and criminals.

We should not forget many in the Ukrainian men are pressed into service or by shady means. Many might think they are fighting for national ideals or their country. Little do they know their country was taken over by corrupt rogue forces a long time ago.
