Apropos of nothing, I recently inherited a gun that literally fits in the palm of my hand. It's loaded (the box says 22) and has what looks like a screw under the muzzle. Maybe that's a safety of some sort? I mean it actually looks like a toy. I wonder what you call this thing?
I talked to a couple of cops at my church yesterday and they were gonna show me how it works but I got busy in the kitchen and by the time I was finished they had all left for the day. I did get a funny look from the female cop. Maybe because I just told a bunch of cops I had a loaded gun on the church campus.
Any 'patriot cop' would never even flinch at The armed citizen. If they are not intelligent enough to know it is not the armed mom and pop that is doing the shooting, they should not be in law enforcement.
Many departments now have commie insiders. Came naturally with the Diversity quota hires. But you are right, it’s the citizens duty to keep themselves safe, not the police.
Without further description or a photo, it's hard to say. Palm of your hand, eh? Well, maybe it's a top-break Derringer 2 shot? Or maybe a small Colt that was chambered for .22 (it also came in .25). Does it have a maker's stamp on it anywhere? Colt? S&W?
Look at it very closely.... somewhere on the frame or barrel there should be a manufacturer's mark. Can you post it here? That will go a long way in determining what you have.

Take it to a shop with a smith and they can check it over.

Most of the men at my church wear suits or sports jackets. I suspect they are all strapped.

It says "American arms corp. Provo, Utah" and ".22 long rifle". Long rifle? This damn thing is only about 4 inches!
