i was in a chatroom and someone was talking about wanting to engage in a traditional relationship. he was a young man and asked a lady's parents their permission to date their daughter etc, and i was giving advice saying i like traditional relationships and thought his efforts were very sweet and awesome and a They/Them butted in and said "your label calling yourself traditionalist is very exclusionary. very insulting to us They/Them/Etc type folk. You're a CIS or (other word i dont know)"

i was like "i dont even know how to annunciate that, ive never heard of it before in my life, me being a traditionalist has nothing to do with you, i dont identify as this made up term ive never heard. youre welcome to be whatever you identify as, as i am welcome to be whatever i identify as"

that didnt go over well xD the person just got more mad and more defensive saying how insulting it is to use the term Traditional. yeah i dont visit that chatroom anymore kekw
