Whoa - slow down. If you believe that will happen within 1 year you will be severely disappointed, although I admire your optimism. I think all of that will happen but it will take significantly longer. Seriously - how do you think we will suddenly build factories everywhere to replace everything we get from China, and where will we get the raw materials for things like drugs, electronics, etc? We will have to mine for some stuff, drill in new areas, reset plants that were shut down because of the moron in charge - all of that will take time and there are few if any shortcuts. Don't forget the workforce required will likely need training that may not currently exist in the USA since everything has been made in China for so long.
I know I'm still waiting for a new HEB to be built nearby that was announced in March of 2022. Ground hasn't even been broken. Changes in regulations would speed that up a little, but they still need the supplies. Imagine the thousands of factories that will be needed competing for much of the same supplies at the exact same time - and using the same transportation...
Trump will get the foundations built, the deals made, and the supply channels required to start as well as creating the necessary business/economic/governmental environment required. It will be super important for him to make good cabinet picks this time, and most importantly a great VP that can carry the torch. The recovery will very likely outlast Trump if people above that are saying 30 years are close to being correct. I figure we have 4 years with Trump and then 8 with his VP. After that we have to hope the VP chose a good VP to carry on.
To the 2 or 3 of you out there that will no doubt say this is dooming - downvote away. In one breath you will say to have faith and trust the plan, and that the plan has been in action for a VERY long time. We have to trust that it is working and stay patient. In the next breath you will say I have no faith it will work in a year so I'm a doomer. You can't have it both ways. If the plan has been around for a very long time and is not done yet, maybe you will understand it takes time to do things right. Saying otherwise is not dooming - it is showing progress is coming and will happen when it can. Optimism is great. Pessimism not so much. This is realism, and a reminder that all of us have to be patient, and do what we can do to ensure the progression keeps happening so we leave things better for our grandkids.
Realistic optimism is indeed crucial. Something tells me that Trump is already working on plans for all of the issues mentioned in this conversation and he intends to hit the ground running.
I just posted this but don't know how to link it to you so I will just post it here again.
I am saying within 1 year there will be a massive change. Sure everything won't be up and running but by that point we will see exactly where we are going.
President Trump was talking about 10 Freedom Cities built on Federal land across the country.
From what I can see by that point the economy will be completely screwed up. the Freedom cities would be like the works programs from the 1930's.
They will be used to jump start the economy. They will also be used to get American manufacturing up and running.
I did not say that there would be no more taxes.
The income tax is only used to pay the debt on what was borrowed. Income tax has nothing to do with everyday spending. It is only used to pay off the central bankers. Without the bankers the Federal government will not need an income tax. The plan is to have a ONE TIME consumption tax (like a sales tax) on the final product. You will receive your entire paycheck. Our tax burden right now is much larger than you think. Almost every transaction is taxed. Those taxes keep getting added to the price of the final product which is also taxed.
