I've got a fix for this not everyone will like. If they claim to be a woman to dodge men's prison, they get mandatory bottom surgery before being placed in women's general population. No exceptions. No hormone therapy while incarcerated, just bottom surgery.
It's times like these when I wish my dad were still around so I could ask him what he thinks of this. He was a prison chaplain in Illinois and North Carolina.
He might tell you that housing male and female prisoners together is a violation of the Geneva convention. Because it is. But this administration doesn't care about laws or norms; they just are brats and do whatever the hell they want.
This is horrific.
Why wouldn't you just bunk all the men transferring in together in the same cell.
They'd go thru all this to get into the women's prison and wind up in a cell with another man!
because then they will have a lawsuit of discrimination... I am a correctional officer in said state...the crap this state is doing is crazy.
