Probably because MANY people don't pay attention to news, politics or anything other than what goes on in their own little bubbles (and "maybe" sports). Heck, LOTS of normie Dems (and Republicans and many others) believe the Democrat party is still the party of JFK.

The Awakening will be very traumatic for many of them.
