This looks sketchy as fuck.
Leaving my credit card info to some FacebookUserPrivacySettlement.com dude on the internet in the promise for free cash?
This looks, feels and tastes like a phishing scam.
I guess you can just call the number provided to do some more research, but leaving cc info is a big no-no from me.
Be careful out there.
It is not YOUR CC, it is the preferred method of payment. fingers crossed FB must pay... Where it get dicey is submitting routing numbers to your checking/savings account dint do dat..
Or have I totally misunderstood it?
-You might have money outstanding from FB.
-Sweet, how do I get it.
-Just give us your personal info.
-Fine, how do I get my money then.
-Just give us your CC info, and we’ll transfer your funds, pinky promise.
-Hurray, I’m rich.
Sorry, I see now that I misunderstood.
It’s an option for a prepaid Mastercard.
Still a bit fishy.
I understand that, but to be able to receive your payment on your cc, they request your information.
I just find that a tad phishy.
Can you read?
#1, they're giving YOU a prepaid credit card, not asking for your CC# #2, there is an option to be paid by paper check, thereby avoiding any/all bank info
Clearly, a product of public schools
Beat you to it by 2 hours.

Why are you so unpleasant?
One of our big tasks during the coming awakening according to Q, is to support our peers trough the storm.
If you’re this unpleasant to people that are on the same level as you (awake), I dread how you’ll treat people that are just waking up.
Protip: calling people a product of public school and attacking their reading skills will turn people away from you, when all they’ll need is just a push in the right direction.
Don't be ugly.
Honey trap or real? I’ve done this before, insurance was the culprit that time. Got a $250 check in the mail. Facebook seriously does owe us, you know. They shared info without consent and lied about it and got caught and now they pay.
LOL - you have to give them your name, address, FB id and phone number. So now they'll have updated info on you. LOL.
They will find nothing on me since I closed my account a couple years ago.. 😁
I bet at least 100 million users will sign up for this, that makes their payment $7.25...WOO HOO I'M RICH!
do you trust the Daily Mail to do their Due Diligence ?
You may be entitled to a piece of a $725 million settlement Meta agreed to pay in a class action lawsuit.
Eligible users are those who had a Facebook account from May 24, 2007 through December 22, 2022 - these individuals must submit a claim here by August 25, 2023.
The lawsuit, in which Meta admitted no wrongdoing, claims the social media platform made user data and data about users' friends without permission available to third parties.
It stems from the 2018 Cambridge Analytica scandal, which claimed the company had misused data from tens of millions of Facebook accounts by allowing access to third parties.
Cambridge Analytica had previously claimed it had only collected data from about 30 million Facebook profiles, it 'may have collected the personal information of as many as 87 million Facebook users, according to the law office of Keller Rohrback.
I’ll give this to my daughter ( I never used Facebook ) maybe she’ll get a few bucks .
Hey thanks pede.
Husband and I each got a settlement check from miracle ear for a class action lawsuit. I think it had to do with robocalls. We each received $146. I was shocked and thought it would be more like 20. I divided the settlement by 146 and found that way less people claimed the money than they prepared for. Something like 52k vs 325k. Wonder what happened to all of those class claimants.
What does "reside" mean? Permanent residence, or you stayed with your US folks for a couple weeks.
You have to say yes to this one I guess:
Did you reside in the United States at any time between May 24, 2007 and December 22, 2022, inclusive?*
Residence during your use of Facebook.
