If I remember their word garbage correctly, the "boosters" are the "bivalent". I've already had (according to EUA test), the "Omicron covid", not the sickest I have ever been, and I have Natural Immunity now, so why FDA do I need the "shot"?
Omicron is so last year! I think they are claiming that we need "protection" from each new variant. I think we need protection from the WHO, CDC, NIH, FDA, etc.
The bivalent is omicron and delta. They also discuss a June meeting where any changes will be determined by what they believe will be the next variant. So look for a new vaccine for the next variant of concern which atm is a subvariant of omicron. I cant remember what they are calling it off the top of my head.
They are using the flu shot model where each year there will be a new vaccine to combat that years variants of concern.
