I believe that much of the Bible where people tend to think and assume is figurative is actually quite literal. That’s why I take everything literal unless it specifically states dream or vision.
Jasher is mentioned in the Bible three times, but no one has produced it until one in the 1700s which is generally regarded as a forgery. The name in Hebrew means the Book of the Wise Man, and there may have been a genuine midrash, a commentary, by that name, but it hasn't been identified either.
Wasn’t the Book of Enoch found later as well? They are both mentioned in the Bible as those who walked with God which gives them credibility though.
I am inclined to think that someone knew their content and didn’t want to be exposed so they hid them and they were found much later. Why they didn’t destroy them, I don’t know. Glad they didn’t though. Many have tried to destroy the Bible and failed though, so……
Jasher and Enoch are both basically retelling of the Pentateuch. I think Jasher was probably an early midrash, a rabbinical commentary, not any important revelation. Enoch is more complicated and interesting, and there are three "Books of Enoch." The most complete and scholarly discussion of Enoch that I know of is The Books of Enoch: The Angels, The Watchers, and The Nephilim, by Joseph B. Lumpkin. I highly recommend it over all the breathless OMG YT type information, because the author has dug up all the usual apocrypha and more, and cross referenced it wth history and canonical scripture. You can get it on Amazon.
Countess Elizabeth Báthory de Ecsed bathed in the blood of virgins to retain her youth. She lived from 1560-1614. She must have learned of someone's earlier experience.
Things never changed, then. I am so surprised at how little interest is shown in this. If normies knew about this having been true it could help them comprehend that there are still humans who believe in feeding off of our babies. Millions of satanic ritualist pedos.
Well clearly the connection between blood and youthfulness was known or at least rumored back then Ala Dracula, Bathory, etc.
Interesting that the Rosicrucians were proclaiming Jasher as authentic. Secret knowledge being put to the forefront to offset karma like they do? Plus they could point to the book being a fraud to say "see that's crazy ppl don't actually DO that stuff!"
Then see references for Book of Jasher aka pseudo Jasher at bottom, which appears to be the "Complete" book of Jasher that's an 18th century forgery that's shopped around.
AFAIK there is no known real complete book of Jasher
Yeah they do. It’s like that meme of the DemonRats all pointing at President Trump yelling we caught you, while one hand is behind them in the cookie jar
Forgery aside, the fact that this concept was discussed even in the 1700s when Jasher was "found" means they knew of it back then. 300 years ago
Hmm it kind of makes me wonder if “drunk off the blood of the saints” from revelations is literal.

Wow. That juat blew my mind. I think you are 100% correct.
Not surprising. Blood has long been associated with longevity look at the countess Bathory and others like Dracula.
Rene Descartes said the pineal gland is the seat of the soul. How did he know back then?

In actual book form or online ebook or kindle? I only do real paper
Me too. This is a convenient size book you can even read in bed.
Interesting tie to the use of adrenochrome in ancient times.
The Aztecs and Inca priests drank the blood of their sacrificed victims, perhaps adrenochrome was the reason.
Why do you think they touch briefly on that nonsensical story of that guy that found the "fountain of youth" in history.
Knowing what I know now, I am convinced the fountain of youth was the rituals being done by locals

And Prince Charles bragging about how he’s related to Count Dracul aka Vlad the Impaler of Transylvania.

Jasher is a forgery though. Wouldn't build doctrine on it
Whoever forged it must have known about Adrenochrome...
Who would forge such a thing that is truly unknown by mere subjects?

why do you say it is a forgery?
Check this out: it is a lost book

They claim the same about the other apocryphal books that expose them.
