The demolition of Tesla's tower in 1917 was the cause of great speculation and rumor. There were reports that it was demolitioned by the US government.

As far as I understand it, after Tesla died, John Trump (DJT's uncle) was assigned responsibility to gather and collate all Tesla's notes, studies and theorums. Not sure what govt agency that was for, but the fact that it was John Trump is a very dasting nugget, to be sure.
