You can bet Nixon knew & that he told Trump everything when they were alone for that 3 hour conversation that no one knows what they talked about. This is probably how Trump knew what to be most aware of & avoided all the traps

I don't keep a file but by searching I found this: https://nypost.com/2020/09/24/trump-nixon-letters-reveal-previously-unknown-relationship/

and this https://archive.is/zD1gd I think it was after that party that Trump offered Nixon a ride home & flew the former president back to Cali. IDK where I read that

Nobody knows anything about that conversation (or at least no one is saying they did) but they talked at length

We also know from Roger Stone that Nixon was the 1st person to suggest that Trump could be president.
