FYI: 56 degrees this morning, light breeze, and cloudy. Springtime rains are sporadic and I'm going to plant tomatoes this afternoon.when it gets up to about 61 degrees.
It snowed twice this week and twice last week and lows are in the upper 20s. I can get some flowers like marigolds and pansies in because they tolerate light frost but Im still almost a month from planting veges like tomatoes or peppers.
My nephew and niece used to use mounted rows with low greenhouse domes over each row. Wood chips generate heat between rows. They would have a roadside stand selling tomatoes when everyone else is just planting. I don't have the time or desire but would if I was a kid

Already put onions and lettuce out. Tomatoes and peppers today.
I love this time of year.
