Interestingly, the battle flag of the Army of Northern Virginia (what we call the Confederate flag) was first seen a few miles down the road from where I lived. My family was also settled in the state of Florida before it was a state. Not sure how I was being a prick.
Buffalo used to be okay. I live in NC, but my family visited back in 1966. My father stopped to ask a woman how to find the zoo, and she climbed into the car with us since she was going that way.
