I'm not sure if you are responding to one of my comments, or someone else's. If it's me, then, yes...aerosolized formaldehyde is a dangerous toxin -- even though it is a natural compound as well. In higher concentrations, it frequently causes autoimmune issues, and, in my case, hyperimmunity in addition to autoimmunity.
I knew that. I just didn't think its use in chair stuffing amounted to anything. Wow.
Polyurethane foam and wrinkle-free fabrics. Walk into an office supply store that has furniture, and you'll smell it...from the pressboard. Many kitchen cabinets are made of the same stuff. If I open a kitchen cabinet to get a dish out, I get a whiff of it.
I thought it was also used in clothes manufacturing to set dye?
