Have you seen the documentary "Three Identical Strangers"? Almost the same thing happened in that.

No I've never seen that documentary before. It's crazy that we all may have doppelgangers.

Edit - I just looked it up and read that it's about 3 identical triplets were separated at birth, but from the trailer it looks like maybe the hospital didn't tell the parents they had 3 babies, and I assume they were adopted out.
