I wonder if this could be a cans of worms, and the lid just got cracked. Where these kids came from "could" be one ugly worm that no one is prepared to hear. We'll see if this develops.
So kids can learn about masturbation in first grade, consent to sex and chop off body parts at 12 but can’t work unless they’re 16 (and only so many hours).
$212,000 combined for 3 McDonald’s franchises violating labor laws is a slap on the wrist. It should be $1 million each. Until you hit where it hurts, it isn’t a deterrent. And I want to see all these businesses which are fined, such as Big Pharma, show that the money was really paid and what the money is used for, instead of going right back to the business or government using it to finance their crimes.
Why? Isn’t it child trafficking AND child labor?
Did the “children” go to work by themselves
Wonder where these children came from?

Got it.
It says nothing about who these kids were. I bet they were illegals
It may be that because they're minors, in a vulnerable situation, it's erring on the side of caution to not disclose their names.
