I think he realizes that the murder of his Uncle was, from the viewpoint of the American public consciousness, a far more significant event than the murder of his father. No less tragic, but in terms of public consciousness, the murder of JFK stands out like no other event.
No doubt. I remember where I was and what I was doing on that day. Most boomers do.
Except George Bush. I heard that he said he didn't remember where he was but it turns out that he was in Dallas. I also think he was working for the CIA at that time.
