1. This is a civil case, not a criminal case. The plaintiff doesn't actually have to prove anything. It's a backdoor around having to actually meet the standards we all think about when we talk about a legal case (like presenting convincing evidence and reasonable doubt).
2. I have yet to read any article anywhere that actually describes the difference between "liable for rape" and "liable for sexual abuse." MSM is running headlines claiming Trump is guilty of sexual abuse, knowing that people have no idea what the difference is. Political theater.
3. The jury itself is almost certainly Trump haters out of NY state, so the conclusions were pretty much foredrawn.
4. Trump's testimony under deposition didn't help him.
5. There's almost certain to be an appeal
