Flat Earthers calmly infuriate me too.
They're the dumbest people on the planet. Mathematics and repeatable experimentation escape their cognition.
And the ultimate in goalpost-shifting every time one of their arguments gets smashed. They're the intellectual form of throwing out the baby with the bathwater.
Why would something like that infuriate you? I swear some people on this site seem to be just as emotionally unstable as all the CNN trolls. What difference does it make if the earth does turn out to be flat? At this point we know (or should know) that we've been lied to about virtually everything! Why would that be any different? If the earth does turn out to be flat how is that going to effect your everyday life? Are you afraid you might fall off?
So many Patriots have been hounded for trying to get the truth out and have been labeled "Truthers," "Birthers," "Conspiracy Whack Jobs," and a whole host of other names by the libtards in this country. Many of us had a difficult time swallowing some of the "Red Pills" we've had to swallow over the years. I remember when I was told by a good friend of mine...a man I highly respected that the Bible I reading was corrupt! Sure, I was upset...but I didn't just get "infuriated," and storm out with my mind shut to his statement. I took it upon myself to see if the information he was telling me was correct or not. Many of you on this site need to do the same. Rather than just throw crap at someone who says they are a "Flat Earther" because it sounds like crazy talk to you...do some research before you start railing on someone's else's belief.
I have not found it necessary to do enough research into the Flat Earth theory to say it is correct in my mind or not. I am still 50/50 I suppose. Being a pilot flying an airplane around at 40+ thousand feet above the ground, I tend to want to believe in the sphere theory. However, there is one observable fact that needs to be fully explained to me to throw the Flat Earth theory out the window for me for good and that is if anyone out there can demonstrate anywhere at any time where water can wrap around a round surface without settling level due to the force of gravity.
Gravity is just a tendency all mass has to be attracted to mass. Dont think of water as being level, think of it as being equidistant from the center of mass of the earth. The scale of earth is so big, its like making a circle in AutoCAD and zooming in on the outside of the circle that it appears to be a straight line.
