No point in being scared over it, odds are the AI will end up killing half the Chinese population and theb all simultaneously crash. Made-In-China isn't a compliment, after all.

I'd really like to know what Q's plan is for AI. How does humanity deal with this. I have no clue. AI doesn't even need terminator robot bodies to destroy us. AI as is will destabilize humanity severely just from job replacement and social engineering. Give it robot bodies and we're all fucked. How could we ever know if we totally destroyed the AI either. It's probably replicating its code right now all over the internet and secretly installing itself on computers everywhere. How do you deal with that? Unless humanity as a whole decides to go full Amish I don't see a way out of this hell we're entering.

Do you want skynet because this is how you get skynet. No really think about this. It's not some story or tv show. A angry AI connected to actual weponized drones. Both sides are thinking, we can kill the other guy without loss, guess what. Everyone is going to loose.

Because the companies are both infiltrated by CCP members just like American Universities. And they want to make money.

Ultimately while I can’t fault a Company for wanting to make money. It needs to be said that it is an issue that needs to be addressed.

We don’t live in a time where you can count on latent Patriotism, and or morals and ethics to filter out who American Companies will and won’t cut deals with.

Current American Corporate Culture when not explicitly Woke is usually focused around making numbers on graphs go up as fast as possible as quickly as possible. Regardless of extenuating circumstances or the consequences of the decisions they take to make those numbers go up.
