Democrats only control the Senate by 51 to 49. (https://ballotpedia.org/Election_results,_2022:_U.S._Senate). Could it flip to 48 to 52? Why is no one talking about the Brain Dead Senators issue? Even Heels Up's vote can't fix that.
I know that there are a boatload of RINOs in the Senate, but they seem easier to deal with than Democrats (Example: McCarthy. I wouldn't trust him, but...) Does this mean a successful impeachment trial against Biden? Then what exactly do we do with Heels Up? She seems to lack legal status to be president because of her parents. Does that mean McCarthy becomes president? Inquiring minds want to know.

The replacements for Senators is appointed by the State governor. PA and CA are both democrat governors.
Isn't there some point in the timeline when it has to go to a special election?
In 37 states, including CA and PA, U.S. Senate vacancies are temporarily filled by gubernatorial appointment. The appointee serves until the next statewide general election is held; the winner in that election serves out the remainder of the term.

While I love to speculate on Joe and the Ho both getting impeached, I don't think there is any way that will happen to the point that the next in line could be POTUS. The only chance they would have is if they impeached her first and withheld the POTUS pick for a new VP long enough to impeach him. Even then, unless the Senate changes sides the Dems will never vote to convict. It would also drag on too long at this point and would interfere with 2024.
I suppose they could attempt to hold concurrent trials in the Senate but I don't think that would pass Constitutional muster. I'm sure SCOTUS would refuse that one (since CJOTUS presides over the trial).

Then The House brings articles of impeachment against Biden and then Kamala for stealing the election! At that point with all the evidence retrieved by the military, Trump is/was the duly elected president and is reinstated to office!
Will Pence then be reinstated as VP? Or does Trump request articles of impeachment against Pence for treason on J6? That would be interesting!

It takes a 2/3 vote in the senate to convict in an impeachment.
