Actually, I kind of agree with you. I think the Moose really goes too far in saying "without context... .this is bullshit". To be honest, it doesn't look like bullshit to me at all.

However the questions the moose asks are good questions and relevant. It was really that aspect of the Moos's comment that I was addressing. It's not critical thinking to just say "without context .... its bullshit".

On the other hand, from the viewpoint of information sharing, one might say the sharing of the information is bullshit*, in that it may have no or even negative value, and cannot really advance the knowing of truth.

Admitting that we just don't know is a more balanced approach, but I also think that some aspects of the three different viewpoints expressed here actually have some merit.
