heard some speculation that the CIA had basically convinced Johnson that John F kennedy was a threat to national security, and that's why he authorized the hit.
Person seems to think LBJ realized he'd been had after the fact and regretted it the rest of his life.
Sounds like BS, Johnson committed a lot of crimes and most likely did it to stay out of jail. Those oil men in texas were also highly invested in defense companies as was LBJ he owned a lot of stock in bell helicopter, they wanted to escalate the war in Vietnam and JFK didnt.
I'm weirdly reminded of 1984. I forget the exact quote, but it was something to the effect of the higher you went in the party, the more they believed the bullshit they spewed... I wonder how many of them are true believers and how they would react if they found out what they believed was all nonsense...

alright, thanks for the honest response. Do you think there are any deepstate/MIC/etc actors who did sketchy things, but regretted it later in life?
Like you I would like to think so, but no way.
Anyone who takes a life is responsible for some type of Recompense... Within the Spiritual depths alone even if they do not have a higher power..
There is such inner conflict between self, psyche they are already within some degree of " hell, bondage, dsrkness, chaos "

Of course, I don't think it's uncommon.
God has even made provisions for this.
Johnson was a piece of shit chauvinist and racist, a nasty, nasty fellow. I doubt he had the capacity to regret it.
