DeSantis votes take away from Trumps votes. That is the reason the democrats back him because it guarantees a democrat win.

Keep in mind they are running in the GOP primary. When Trump wins the primary all of desantis votes should go to Trump unless they are never Trumpers. I doubt the donor would have given money to Trump anyway.

I don't vote for backstabbers...under any circumstances.

So if DeSantis somehow won a legitimate primary, you would not see me vote for him.

It is not as simple as DeSantis voters just voting Trump. Not at a 100% rate anyway.
