I would agree. I doubt Jack created Twitter from scratch because he wanted it to be a tool of govt. censorship or a one-sided political left circle jerk echo chamber. Maybe Jack got into a Faustian bargain situation in order to get Twitter off the ground and was now stuck in it?

Potentially. Also consider Aaron Swartz being killed as an adamant online free speech platform owner (Reddit now run by Spez). It would have sent a very clear signal to other big tech to fall in line.
