I read Naked Communist in the 8th grade and it's been part of my evaluation of the world and it's philosophies ever since. Proven true over and over again. The biggest criticism of Skousen was that he was a Bircher. So you are correct....at least in the 65+ years since I became aware.

How nice. A pity that at my age I have forgotten more than I ever knew. Old age is an interesting and paradoxical condition.
BTW, it's probably meaningless but there's an unusual amount of air traffic over my house which is 50 miles down the street from the White House.
