The elephant in the room is that Trump haven't spoken up on this issue at all within the past 12 hours. A bit unusual considering how outspoken he is at times.
My two cents is that there is something in the paragraphs that delivers wins to Trump and MAGA while minimizing whatever gains the Demonic Rats get. He's operating in stealth mode until his plan is played through.
Maybe this looming shutdown is a ploy for the WHs to offer plea deals, last calls before burning it all down. Or maybe my gummy has kicked in.
