Doomer alert... I'm so sick and tired of the "you're watching a movie" line. Millions of real people's lives are being destroyed. This isn't a movie, it is real life. I understand the sentiment behind the phrase, that things are being put into place to hopefully get to a better future, but it cheapens the real world consequences of the process.
I understand your point, but both things can be true at the same time... people ARE suffering to be sure, AND we are watching a movie. It's a rather poorly scripted movie, and the actors and their masks and props seem silly and obvious... but it just points out how utterly stupid [THEY] are. And in their stupidity, they believe that WE are as stupid and gullible as they are.
I watch for these "glitches in the Matrix" all the time... and I find them. Knowing that we are watching a movie makes me more alert to their pitiful control efforts.
^^^^^This.
😁
I came here to say this, not as poignant as you said it, but my message would have also, similar to your statement, gotten the point across.
