She's young. She's incredibly talented and ambitious. She's got a new baby as well. Those are a lot of pressure points. Following Trump is hard. You're subject to non-stop harassment and attack. It's not just verbal either. It's creepy people stalking you. It's vandalism. It's harassment while you're out at a restaurant. Non-stop. And the cops don't stop it. Keep in mind, this isn't just coming from the Left either. The RINOs are doing the same stuff. It's a lot easier when you've made your place in the world, when you've made yourself independent, and when you don't have a young family to protect and defend.
In her case, I think she took the job at Fox thinking it'd be favorable like it was during the Trump years when she came on as a guest all the time. She was well treated. Since Trump left office, Fox changed. The Baby Murdochs have flipped the entire station's positions on countless things and the on-air personalities have all been given ultimatums that they either play by the rules or Faux destroys their careers. They'll do what they're doing to Tucker Carlson right now. So, because she needs this job, she plays ball.
I'll also grant she may genuinely want to see a more polished DeSantis as the face of the party. We all want to see JFK instead of Nixon, just like in 1960.
Only those of us who realize this is a culture war really see it differently. We see it as a war, so we want a warrior. We want that guy with the scarred up eyebrows and the cauliflower ear who walks around with his chest out in a bar daring someone to throw a punch at him. We want the street brawler. We want Trump.
But my guess is that she still thinks this is a gentleman's game. And that's why she picks DeSantis.
I think she did an excellent job as press secretary. She was well organized and articulate. She followed the money, and took a job at fox that pays probably millions. I think the vast majority of people would do whatever needed to be do to ensure they kept making that kind of money. Even if it means selling out and adopting the values of those who are paying you even if their values are shit. Thats not a good thing.
I know a few people here could honestly say they wouldnt take that deal. But im willing to bet most would. I would.
I think this is a fake fight. McEneny was likely placed inside Fox to keep an eye on them. Also, her background, facial features, and connections indicate reasonable probability (~70%, imo) she is the (secret?) daughter of JFK Jr or another Kennedy.
Like Ezra Cohen-Watnick, rumored to be JFK grandson, she played a critical role in Trump admin #1 seemingly out of nowhere and seemingly too young for the job, but quite prepared and talented.

So the millions of doctors and nurses who knowingly killed their patients with vaccines are ok because they needed to play ball because of their jobs?
Or only the ones you think are pretty?
"I'm just doing my job!" comes to mind. Weakest ass excuse ever.
