The whole cast of Star Trek (bar Shatner) used the Star Trek name to fundraise for Joe Biden.

They then gave Spock a black uberpowerful sister and put fucking Stacey Abrams in there as a future President of Earth somehow.

The official Trek website espoused the virtues of communism and socialism.

Star Trek is dead.

It's true that the 'franchise,' as it were, has been tarnished just as miserably as Star Wars has been...

...but they can never take away from what Star Trek was, through 4 very good series iterations. So what that team dark takes everything that's good, true and beautiful to invert and make dark? Fuck them, anyway.

We get to choose what we enjoy and what we don't. Star Trek is not dead.
