There's nothing they can do if even a significant minority of the population reject it at the beginning. They're not just competing against BRICS at that point but against us. Our biggest problem is everyone running around pushing this narrative of "They're going to do ____ and there's nothing we can do about it." If enough people take that attitude and buy into this narrative they will become apathetic and allow the DS to get their way. We need to stop thinking we're being pragmatic or smart by saying that kind of thing. It's just feeding into their plans.
