"His message does well with the 30% hardcore base, but everyone else absolutely hates it and won't vote for him because of it."

Absolute projection with these donkeys. The "message" does fine with way more than 30% of the base. The last election, even after they stole it, shows that the message is clearly incredibly popular.

What he's really saying is..

"There's this annoying 30% of the party that can see right through me and hates my literal guts. I wish they would just go away and no one took them seriously!"

What a complete loser.
