Quite a blanket statement.

And from my observation, there are several kind of people:

Those that become offended
and those that comprehend taking offense is a choice.

And these two run through all of humanity, irrespective of their answer to the God-question.

So, since neither fact nor reason is the impetus for such statements, where does this sense of grandeur come from?
