Thomas Massie says he does not support resolution for $16 million fine against Adam Schiff

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) said he will not support a House resolution to fine Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) for his involvement in the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.

the House does have some recourse to throw out elected members and discipline them.

I agree with this. I believe that Lunas resolution was sabotaged with the fine. Read the 8th and 27th Amendments. The 16 million dollar fine violates both.

Massie is currently in litigation over his own fines imposed by Pelosi for not wearing a mask. He has a libertarian bent. I support Massies reasons for his no vote even though the results of the resolution are very desirable. The other 19? Who knows without an explanation. Its probably a mixture of standing strong for their values and cronyism.
