I remember this and at the time I thought it was a joke, some kind of publicity stunt. I didn't like ANY of the announced candidates.
Not long after, I came across the r/the_donald on reddit and that discovery changed everything for me. I have been a supporter ever since.
I miss the old centipede videos the most.

And on that day I became a Trump supporter! Best decision ever!! Had to argue friends and family into supporting him. I knew we needed a hard ass business man to try to even the keel. And he sure got things out in the open.
I remember telling a friend I liked Trump only because politicians weren't doing anything, we needed a businessman for the highest CEO position in the country. I didn't like Trump for Trump, I liked that he was an outsider and a successful businessman. Little did I know how much we needed the outsider, successful businessman, and Trump.
