Trails of America, sports teams, martial arts classes, enrichment classes, music/band/chorus, church, volunteer work, accompanying parents in their business and errands, and organized/semi organized home school family get-togethers for classes, projects, park days, swim meets, museum visits, etc.
Our kids are polite, well spoken, informed and complimented by observant adults everywhere we go. Other parents wish their kids were like ours but don't see the connection. The museum and library personnel do, though. They know we leave our areas cleaner and we're more polite and gracious, and that both kids and adults will be engaged and interested.
