How widely has this actually been confirmed (if at all)?
If the Trump DeSantis feud is in fact Kayfabe, would you expect anything different other than these sorts of media / narrative deployments? (I wouldn't)
The idea that this 'settles' the DeSantis thing seems sort of ludicrous to me. Either the Feud (and Desantis candidacy) is kayfabe, or its not. It still seems to me that there is more evidence that it is than otherwise. But what we are observing fits relatively easily with both scenarios, especially all these 'leaks' like "oh, we'll go to the middle after winning the nomination" or the even more wacky "Oh, we won't support Trump if he wins the candidacy".
It makes zero sense if DeSantis is in fact Cabal instrument, not kayfabe. Because its 100% political suicide.
If this is the Cabal, then they are doing a lousy job.
And, ultimately, whether it is Cabal or Kayfabe, it benefits DJT and MAGA for Trump to fight his way to the lead. He's a prize fighter, and benefits from having a sparring partner. It only reinforces his legitimacy when he wins.
5G warfare. I just don't get why so many of our frens just take the easy and emotionally driven option of believing everything they are seeing and being told. But maybe that's just me....

But also "Came out of nowhere, hot and fast". But promoted by Who? Wasn't it DJT that did this? If RD is deep state asset, why would Trump promote him? Do we really think DJT doesn't know who exactly RD is?
What makes no sense is Desantis actually coming out and challenging Trump if his real intent is to succeed politically. I mean, look at his 'presidential launch'. On Twitter. What a complete joke. And how is he now 2 or 3 weeks later? Traction? No traction.
We'll find out in the end. Meanwhile, I see all these little :whispered: leaks about Team DeSantis as sounding very staged and perfectly tailored to create the narrative 'oh, he's deep state'. As if someone WANTS to the deep state supporters to conclude that RD is 'their guy'.

These are pretty basic questions. I'm not asserting anything like "Oh, that's rubbish!" But I'm not going to just accept something because it confirms my biases, either.

Yes, that's a salient argument. For example, "he basically has a gun to his head (metaphorically) and he has to do the bidding of his masters, even though its political suicide". But from the viewpoint of a self-interested politician, his move makes no real sense. So he's very likely one or the other.
