Yes, I noticed the same. With my keen powers of observation, I noticed a fairly quick transformation of Mike after they left the WH in 2017. Was it due to the nasty comparisons to the lovely and feminine Melania, Mike's successor? The numerous side-by-side photos of the clunky and awkward Mike next to the graceful and gorgeous Melania were shown everywhere. Did Mike see them? I think yes.
Soon, big Mike enlisted the aid of an acting coach, a stylist and a new makeup and hair person. Her brows were groomed differently. She started wearing hair extensions to give her longer and more feminine hair. She got breast implants. Mike learned how to 'emote' and 'pose' in a cloying, coquettish manner that we'd never seen before. (Perhaps a drag queen friend intervened and gave Mike some pointers).
Interviews with Mike showed her working her brows, lips and facial expression to look more feminine, empathetic and sympathetic. Some people bought it. I just felt cringe.
And then Mike had the book come out: 'Becoming' where the fantasy really ramped up. Stunning and Brave. (cough)
