I'm curious where this whatsapp text message came from? Some IRS investigation? Did legal authorities request it from WhatsApp? An intercept from US intelligence agencies? How long has someone known about this message?

I guess I'm curious if someone or some group has known about this for some time and is letting things slowly drip out so as to provide maximum damage. Like climate gate where they released some emails, let the scientists/media debunk and then released more which debunked the debunking.
