So, I would say, when he puts the name smith within quotation marks .... that would leave Jack Luman.
Anglo-Saxon name, quite a number of them live in The Netherlands.
Of course: Jack = Jacob.
I noticed, some families use their heritage names as given names at the second position.
I would think Jacob would be Jake Versus Jack for Jackie or Jackson
Jack can also be a nickname for John (as in Jack Kennedy meaning John Kennedy).
I think you are along the right track. Smith is not his real (or at least original) name.
The Bidden spelling is either calling attention to the letter "D" or calling attention to the Biden crime family name.
