Of course. The money have to go into someone's bank accounts or pockets.
My Dr says Medicare and insurance companies don’t really pay going rate for services. They rely on copays and deductible payments to survive. In other words they give the patient a 10k bill for an mri and the copay is 20% or $2k. The $2k actually is the cost of the mri with some profit and money to cover 0 costs for immigrants and others with 0 insurance. Any money the gov or insurance actually pays is a bonus but it is nowhere near 80% of the inflated price.
I could tell you that myself. Anything the government touch go to shit. In California, many doctors would not even accept insurance because of what you just described. they were paying like 20 percent of the service and you have to do your copay. Doctors in California practiced what they called concierge medicine or cash only. I am going to a holistic doctor in TX who also doing that. Why pay insurance when it doesn't do any good.

This same thing happened to us for covid test kits. Refused delivery from the Post office. Supposedly ordered in March, received them in May and showed up on Medicare summery in June. We both called Medicare to report this as fraud. We however talked to a very nice lady that took all our information and filed the report. She told us that we would never hear for Medicare about the outcome but that they were receiving a lot of complaints about this very subject.
They laundered money anywhere and everywhere.
You should let your Congressmen know.

Tell them anyway. Let them know you expect them to hold the Biden administration to the law. They should feel our eyes on them at all times.

I mean. Does anyone at this point even trust a physician? I don't even want to get basic blood work done cause Im worried they'll try to sneak that poison into my blood.
