I attended the movie today. Awesome. It is a very well-done movie.
At the end, credits rolled, and the lights came on. I waited for the special message, and 75 pct of the audience waited.
When it ended, I stood up and yelled out... "Anybody... where we go one..."
And an older dude yelled back... "we go all" .
So I met him there inm the theater. A genuine Anon, fellow Fren, in the flesh. We exchanged contact info.
Can't tell you how gratifying that was.
Was the message at the end of the credits or end of the movie?
After the credits. About a 4-5 minute wait. Worth it.
Hood to see so many staying after the credits. Did they know to stay or was it just shock that made people stay?
There was a text overlay at the bottom of the screen with a countdown.
In our theater, I think it was shock. People were very respectful, but the mood was somber.
2mins wait
Jim Caveziel at the end came on and asked that we encourage everyone we know to see this movie, to bring awareness to these horrible crimes and awaken support for putting an end to it. Very heartfelt and impactful. Also encouraged people to donate tickets to people who can’t afford them… there is a place on the website to do that.
Message was towards the end of the credits. It went to a split screen, with Caviezel speaking on the right, and the completion of the credits on the left.
