In America, as it is in Nature, each Individual, being the Smallest Minority, has the same Rights as any ""Group"", in Weight, Depth, Scope, height or any other way to measure it....
God gave us all the Right of Free Agency, being the Right to chose, either we serve God, or we don't, either we quench our Thirst with Water, or stay dehydrated, we Eat to satiate our hunger, or we starve, Clothing or Naked, Agree or disagree....
It is all about the choices we make, and the Contracts we enter into, and many are hidden, or lopsided, and mostly against us....
We have the Right to Govern Ourselves, either as Individuals, or as United Individuals, not a ""GROUP"", that's Socialistic, we are only Individuals, Groups do not exist in Humanity, whereas they might exist elsewhere....
These Rights, being Divinely Gifted to us, also gift us with the Duty of being and acting Responsible for our own actions, that being Individual Responsibility....
It is our own Individual Choice, our own Individual Decision....
Amen!! Our country was founded on biblical principles and our founding fathers, even those who were not Christians, said our Constitution would only work for a moral and religious people.
Freedom is about choice. We are here to learn to make the right choices. Our destinies depend on our choices. Without choice, we lose our destiny.
Rights have corresponding Responsibilities
What is correct always follows right. Rights are the reason for opportunities to do the right thing. Law, statute, rule, regulation, are with the position of the pre-school kindergarden low consciousness dwellers.
Not to be argumentative but cause always precedes effect.. rights are God given and man demands them to be honored because there is a reason to have them.. if you plant a tree, the tree nor the fruit are the reason to do it.. potential hunger and the opportunity to eat it is.. And to the point of the post, if you plant Two of them, you can help someone else overcome their hunger that might not have had the opportunity to plant their own.. (opportunity not to be confused with responsibility)
